PALMYAward winners

The digital presentation of winning 2019 PALMY Ad Contest winners is now live for viewing! This presentation includes the winning ads, judges’ comments and secret winners.

The President’s Award for Best Overall Advertising winners are The Post and Courier and Charleston City Paper. This award is presented to one daily and one weekly newspaper based on number and ranking of awards won, regardless of circulation.

Congrats to Dela O’Callaghan of the Charleston City Paper on being named SCPA’s Advertising Designer of The Year!

This year’s Best of Show winners, chosen from all first place winning ads in each circulation division are:

  • Under 12,000 Division: The Journal of Seneca, Melissa Bradley and Larry Davidson and City of Seneca
  • Over 12,000 division:  Herald-Journal, Stacy Wivell and Eyes on Henry

The PALMY Awards recognize our state’s brightest advertising professionals and advertisers, and the impact they have made. Winners come from 535 entries submitted from 25 member newspapers. Thanks to members of the Georgia Press Association for judging our contest.
