March 11-13, 2022
The Marina Inn
Reconnect. Learn. Celebrate Together.
Join us for a LONG overdue celebration as we gather together again in person at The Marina Inn in Myrtle Beach! In addition to networking and educational sessions, our 2022 Annual Meeting & Awards, presented by AT&T, will honor winners from the 2021 News Contest. We’ll also induct our 2020 and 2021 honorees into the S.C. Journalism Hall of Fame.
Our meeting is a time to celebrate the Palmetto State’s commitment to outstanding journalism! Come have a good time, reconnect with your peers and get re-energized about the important work you do to serve your readers every day. You can even bring your family for a mini-vacation at the beach!
This year’s convention will feature the Weekly and Associate Member Awards Luncheon and the Daily Awards Dinner. In addition to the presentation of nearly 800 awards, the Annual Meeting will offer top-notch training!
All sessions and networking events are free and open to all SCPA members, but tickets are required to meal and awards functions.
We’ll kick off the meeting Friday night with a BBQ party at the Historic Myrtle Beach Train Depot. Join us for good food, drinks and fun!
Full schedule of events and registration coming in late January.
