Winners from the 2025 News Contest have been posted online for proofing. The list includes winners from the News and Associate/Individual contests (check out Collegiate Contest winners here). The deadline to submit corrections has passed. Please contact SCPA immediately if you have corrections. Contact SCPA if you have a correction.
Winners are not for official release in your newspaper or on your newspaper’s website until March 6. Secret winners, President’s Cup winners, comments for first place winners and Best of the Best will be announced at the SCPA Annual Meeting on March 6.
SCPA will present roughly 650 awards at the Annual Meeting from more than 3,000 very strong contest entries. Thanks to Virginia Press Association members for judging our state’s best journalism!

Our program is distributed to roughly 200 Annual Meeting attendees and is posted online for viewing after the meeting. The deadline to place ads has passed.
