Whether you’re planning a large training event, a small discussion group or a multi-topic conference, the S.C. Press Association is the right choice for you! Affordable rental fees include free AV, parking and Wi-Fi. We also allow renters to bring in catering at no charge. SCPA is conveniently located off Bush River Rd. in Columbia, near I-20 and I-26, and minutes from downtown Columbia.
Included in your rental:
- Approximately 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space (38’ x 28’)
- Classroom (Max: 32) – MOST POPULAR OPTION; BEST FIT FOR THE SPACE!
- Hollow Square or Open U (Max: 25)
- Theatre – No tables; chairs only (Max: 35)
- Free on-site AV equipment
- Free Wi-Fi
- Ample free parking
- Hospitality amenities including set-up and clean-up
- Approximately 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space (38’ x 28’)
*We use 5′ and 6′ tables for our classroom and hollow square/U setup. We do not have round tables or any other table sizes available.
Rental Rates:
- Standard rental fee, during office hours (Mon. – Fri. 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.): Up to 4 hours: $175 | 4 – 8 hours: $275
- Afterhour fee, in addition to rental fee | Mon.– Fri. 8:00-8:30 a.m. OR 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.: $50 per half hour
- Saturday or Sunday rental fee (9 a.m. – 9 p.m.): Up to 12 hours: $600
- Small Conference Room | Seats up to 8 people | Available only as a $75 add-on to a same-day training room rental.
AV Included with Your Rental:
- Projector Screen (No Charge)
- LCD Projector (No Charge*)
*Use of SCPA’s projector and screen is included with your rental. You must supply your own laptop. Our projector includes inputs for HDMI and VGA. While SCPA will provide an HDMI or VGA cable for your use, it is your responsibility to bring any necessary adapters your presenter may need to connect to the projector.
Other Amenities:
- Coffee and Coffee Supplies (Coffee, Cups, Creamer and Sweeteners): Half Day: $25 | Full Day: $50
- Soft Drinks and Bottled Water on Consumption: $1 each
